Tea

Tea has been drunk in China for well over 4,000 years. Legend has it that in 2737 BC, Emperor Shen-Nung drank, and enjoyed, the dark liquid that resulted when tea leaves accidentally fell into boiling water. From that royal beginning, tea drinking gradually spread around the world until it is now the most commonly drunk non-alcoholic beverage.

Tea leaves are the dried leaves of a species of Camellia (not the same species as those grown by many people in their gardens, but a close relative). There are two main types of tea - green and black. These come from the same plant, but have been treated differently: green tea is heated soon after picking and is not subjected to further processing; black tea, on the other hand, is dried and then exposed to the air before it is heated. Consequently, green and black tea differ noticeably in appearance, taste and chemical composition. Green tea is more common in Asia, while black tea is the tea of choice for most people in Western countries.

Both green and black tea contain caffeine, a drug that has a mild stimulating effect. The quantity of caffeine provided by a cup of tea depends on its strength: the stronger the 'brew', the greater the quantity of caffeine. A medium-strength cup of tea will provide about one third as much caffeine as a cup of percolated coffee, and about two thirds as much as a cup of instant coffee. Caffeine intakes that result from drinking four or five cups of tea each day are not associated with any harmful effect to health in adults. Because it is not known if caffeine is absolutely harmless to the unborn baby, pregnant and breastfeeding women should probably restrict intake of caffeine (e.g. to that provided by three or four cups of tea per day).

For several years it has been suspected that drinking tea might help protect against heart disease. One way in which tea could be protective is through the effects of 'antioxidants' - chemicals in tea that help protect blood cholesterol (among other blood components) from being oxidised. Oxidation of cholesterol turns it into a form that is strongly associated with increased risk of heart disease. This antioxidant effect of tea may also be helpful in reducing the risk of some cancers. There are other ways in which tea may be beneficial to health, too. For example, the same chemicals that appear to protect blood cholesterol also reduce the likelihood that blood will clot in the arteries of the heart (the immediate cause of most heart attacks).

The evidence, while not overwhelming, is quite strong that tea may be beneficial to health generally, and to heart health in particular. Population studies have usually shown that tea drinkers have significantly less risk of heart disease than people who do not drink tea. Of course, other factors could be important here. For example, coffee drinkers tend to smoke more than tea drinkers, so the association of tea with better health may be a statistical illusion. However, studies in test tubes have shown that several chemicals in tea will reduce the oxidation of cholesterol. Also, studies in which people drank either tea or water showed that, shortly afterwards, the tea drinkers had lower levels of oxidised cholesterol in their blood than those who drank plain water.

One question that remains to be resolved is 'what is the effect on health of adding milk to tea?' Early studies indicated that milk might interfere with the antioxidant activity of tea, but more recent results suggest that milk is unlikely to reduce the antioxidant effect of tea in the body. It appears that green tea, black tea, and black tea with milk all have similar health-promoting effects. Population studies suggest that as little as one cup of tea per day confers benefits.
One point worth noting is that drinking tea with a meal will interfere with iron intake from foods of plant origin. Unless you have a problem with too much iron in the blood (a condition known as 'haemochromatosis', which affects about one person in 300) your iron status will be better if you drink tea between meals rather than with a meal.

It is known that a diet that is high in fruits, vegetables and whole grain cereals, and relatively low in fat (especially saturated fat), combined with a lifestyle that includes daily moderately-vigorous activity, is very likely to be health-promoting. Current evidence suggests that a 'cuppa' (or better still, several) each day may even further reduce the risk of diseases such as heart disease.

Sodalite

One of the most challenging aspects of human anatomy is that the brain is divided into two hemispheres: one devoted to rational, linear thinking, the other to imagination and intuition. The human mind, when these two areas are in balance, is both capable of tremendous creativity and the ability to realize that creativity in practical, material terms.
In most Western societies the rational aspects of mind are valued above those of intuition, thus subduing or stifling many creative ideas before they are born into imagination. Malachite and moss agate are two stones which help to rebalance the brain and mind.
Sodalite's function is different. It is especially valuable for those who find themselves in states of mental confusion, especially when these states are intensified by emotional turmoil. Very often, when our emotions are whirling about in our heads we are tempted to seize at any decision which seems to promise that it will reduce our distress. Sodalite helps us to resist such temptation.
This dark-blue stone is one of the most grounding of the blue stones, and has a natural affinity with the third eye center (between and slightly above the eyebrows). Its function is to calm the emotions and the mind and to help one view a situation and the choices which may stem from it with objectivity and detachment.
This also means that it can help to quiet any doubts you may have about your ability to make a decision, i.e., it quiets the inner critic.
In addition, it can assist in dissolving old mental, reactive patterns, helping you to realize that you don't have to do things the way you've always done them.
Sodalite is additionally helpful for reviewing a decision once it's been made, and is believed by some to help extricate people from the coils of complicated lifestyles.
If you are faced with a decision sodalite is an excellent stone to use in meditation. Place it on your forehead and contemplate the situation on which you are working. Ask for guidance in making the decision. If you feel yourself coming up with old solutions just because they're familiar release then and allow sodalite to clear the path for new ideas.
Sodalite is not one of the flashier stones; it doesn't sparkle or shine. Its energy is quiet, calm, and deep as the midnight sky.

Starting Reiki

  • After 1st degree Reiki, it's best to wait at least 3 months to get used to the energy before takin gthe 2nd Degree course

  • To continue to the Third Degree level to become a master it is advised to leave further a year after 2nd degree.

  • The reason that the attunements are done gradually is that the person being initiated would not be able to take the force of th energy they are receiving all at once

  • Some reiki masters recommend that students build in a 3 day period before training during which they eat light meals and avoid alcohol.

  • In the beginning, need to follow 21-30 day cleansing period where they perform a full treatment on themselves daily
21 days mirror the time Dr Usui spent fasting but also the time it takes for the enrgy to move through the chakras.
This cleansing detoxifies the body and as a result can induce mild sickness or diarrhoea, physical changes in the body and balance the mind and emotions.

Tip from Bah:
yeah sure a lot of things sayang nak buang but think of the time you spend reorganizing and cleaning and packing,

Tied To Your Past

  • It is ok to keep mementoes that remind you of happy times, but if you have too many, your energies will be linked too strongly to your past, preventing new things from entering your life.

  • The truth is that once you have relinquished those posessions, you often don't miss them at all.

  • Checklist:
-Do your possessions mainly reflect your past?
-If you gave away several objects, will it have negative effect on your life?
-Do you see hosts of memories in your rooms and realise no new ones are being created?

  • You may believe that your possessions are visible symbols of the person you are. But when there are so many that they dominate your home, you may be subconsciously building a memorial to your past life. But once you have started this process of release, you will not look back and new energy will come flooding into your life.

  • Memorabilia- keep sampling, not all!
  • Throw
    -clothes you don't wear
    -expired stuff
  • Make a

    -clutter clearing
    -DIY
    -prepare meals in advance
    -other money saving efforts

Realistic Planner
Arise by: _________
Pray: ______ to _____
Exercise: ____ to _____
Tasks to be completed (or started today)

  1. xx
  2. xx
  3. x
  4. (no more than 5, let's be realistic)

Chores to be done: _________
Recreation: _________________

  • healthy and energetic

4. Eat Economically

  • make shopping list and keep it with you
  • cook in bulk- freezer bags (don't just cook, cook in bulk)
  • Ask for doggie bag (makes 2 meals!)
  • For family: treat yourself to eating out once a week, cook food that are normally expensive to eat out, eg pasta, korean

5. Cease comparing a.k.a Don't KUWTJ

Studies show ppl who live beneath their financial means have longer and more fulfilling lives
-> Contentment

6. Put Off Procrastination
"Don't put off until tomorrow what you can do today"
Life is too short to get stuck in analysis paralysis

Get started. Everything does not have to be perfect the first time around

No "I shoulds".

Simple, from the heart, DIY
If a person can't appreciate gift unless expensive, then screw that person, not worth friendship

9. Eliminate Emotional Spending

Anger
If you peel the onion of why you are angry, at the core you will find that you're angry with yourself for tolerating someone's bad behaviour, not speaking up, putting yourself at risk.
Counsel/confront yourself and forgive and understand yourself

Depression
You're not the centre of the world. Do something for someone. Take the spotlight off yourself, you'll feel better.

10. Ponder Your Purchases

No impulsive buying especially if you:

  • esp if you will go back to the place again soon
  • another matter if you don't go there often, then grab opportunity if you really like it, eg on vacation, different part of town, else you'll regret, "should've"

Read the fine print, consider consequences, is the offer genuine, any catch?

Any unwanted long term commitments?

Just because hot deal, clearance sale, doesn't mean you must buy. Do you need it? Will you use it?

11. Ask for What You Want
(The worst that could happen, they say NO)

Don't retreat at the first hint of resistance. Don't think you don't deserve favourable treatment

CONTENTMENT

Gratefulness diary
Count your blessings - family and friends
- necessities

Whether you're learning a new skill, planning something or implementing something new (eg. space clearing, organising), consistency is important because it all adds up.

Keep an egg timer so you don't go overboard.

DailyWeeklyMonthly
5mins35mins2hrs 20mins
10mins1hr 10mins4hrs 40mins
15mins1hr 45mins7hrs

Aim to surround yourself with BEAUTIFUL and useful things.
Give yourself permission to let go of the rest.
It's taking up space and weighing you down.

We hold on to things because we paid good money for it, but what's the use if your designer clothes gather dust in your closet? Donate it, it could be worth $30,000 a year to a woman who wears it to an interview and gets the job.

Get Started

  • Change thought patterns and habits (File it, not pile it!)

  • What do you stand to gain?

  • Make it fun! Play your favourite music!

  • Make To-Do lists

  • Recognise you're not the same person 10 years ago.
Interests/style change. Get rid of things that are no longer useful/meaningful
  • Don't worry about setting up the perfect system, you can always perfect it later.
Do be on lookout for ways to simplify everyday tasks
  • If you're feeling a little stressed, it may be that things are getting out of control. Regain control by takin gtime out to organise something. You'll feel better immediately.
  • Let go of the belief that once a thing enters into your possession, you are its keeper forevermore.

Self Confession

  • I am disorganised because.... I'm slightly ADD, short attention span, I get excited about new things and leave old projects hanging.......
...... I'm obsessed about getting things dones, so I tend to purposely leave things in sight (instead of putting them away) to remind myself to finish the task...

  • Top 3 things that keep me from getting organised
    - wake up late
    - distractions (internet)
    - hoarding

  • What contributes to clutter - piling

  • Clutter makes me feel......... irritated, disorganised

  • I could get organised if.......... I spend a little time everyday

  • I want to get organised because......... I'll feel good about myself

  • If I could get organised, I could..... be more efficient

Acid Test

  • If saving something in case you need it someday
"Can I get another one easily and inexpensively if i need it someday?"
    If yes, THROW!

  • "What's the worst that can happen if I throw?"
If you can live the the consequences, THROW!

  • "Have I used it in the past year?"

  • "Do I need it for tax/legal purposes?"

  • "Difficult to get another one?"

  • If you take more than 60 secs to decide whether or not to keep it, you probably don't need it

  • If it's ugly/unfixable - THROW!

Philosophy

Weigh the pain of letting go of stuff agains't the pain of living with it. Sure there's a 1% chance you'll miss it, but 99% you won't think of it again.
Have faith you made the right decision.

Accept that you can't control life by holding on to things. The secret is to let go.

Tips

The 30-Second Rule. “If it takes thirty seconds or less to do a job, do it immediately.”

When you get something out, put it back — right away.

Don't put things down - put them away!

File it! Not pile it!

Use the 80/20 Rule.
- You use 20% of your stuff 80% of the time
- Only 20% of the tasks are priority items

Having less means being able to enjoy what you have more

LABEL!

  • Use egg timer so that you don't go overboard when doing things. PARETO
  • Set up clutter collectors where clutter tends to collect, eg basket for loose change
  • Unclutter the wall, if too many photos, rotate
  • Label leftovers in fridge (date), keep labels and markers handy
  • Divide into categories, label categories
-Paper categories: newspaper, mags, mail, lists, receipts, scores, bills
-Filing: insurance, financial, property, taxes, medical
-Scores: Jazz, classical, wedding, easy listening, duets
  • Organise recipes in binders, categories: desserts, potatoes, meat etc
  • Paper tray, hanging folders for each child
  • Find a home for everything, so that it has a place to go home to
  • collect all clothes need mending- put in bag, label "mending", schedule time for it
  • Designate place near door for
    -outgoing mail
    -library books
    -dry cleaner
  • Before you set things down, ask yourself, is this where it belongs?
  • Create a "home" for new acquisitions immediately, instead of setting it on your desk
  • Plan weekly meals in advance, put on fridge
  • Establish routines, eg laundry every monday, enter receipts on friday.
  • Rather than save an entire brochure/flyer for one piece of info (eg tel. no), save just the info and discard the paper
  • Time pockets, in 5-10 mins you can:
clean out your wallet, write a quick note, sew a button
  • Question everything you file. Do you really need this old cable? Why keep this paper which you will never look at again?
  • Filter your junk as soon as it arrives
-Toss em, file em, note down in diary (To Call, To Read....etc)
  • For household: establish "clutter free zone" (like DMZ), if you brought it in.. you bring it out
  • Set up inbox for each family member: forms, permission slips etc
  • Keep frequently used cleaning supplies in bathroom and kitchen so you can clean as you go/at your convenience, use handcloth headed for laundry
  • Go on a Commitments Diet. Get out of activities that are not aligned to your values/priorities. What you were committed to/believed in last time may not hold true now. Re-evaluate your values. (Family, Friends, Health, Career, Religion etc)

Space Savers

  • Vertical storage, eg back of door organisers, racks
  • wrapping paper/rolls- corner of closet
  • dual use
    - trunk style coffee table
    - bed with drawer
    - covered bench
  • Organise jewelry in ice cube containers
  • Hang small collectibles in small pouches, clipped on clothes hanger

Moon in Aries

from http://lunarium.co.uk/sign.php

Moon in Aries
The Moon in Aries makes an individual energetic, impetuous and impulsive. Even if at times he or she might seem calm and cool outside, inside they are full of fidgety urges. Quite unexpectedly for those around them, and sometimes even for themselves, these people can suddenly get involved in an adventure, make a decisive step, or go to the other side of the globe under the influence of a bright new idea.
It is simply essential for the Moon in Aries to somehow release the energy of this hot-headed sign, an uncomfortable for the Moon. It is quite common for an individual with this Moon to go into sports (REAL sports, not chess!).
Moon in Aries people see life as a permanent battle or competition. Even if everything goes smoothly, without effort, theirMoon in Aries will find something to struggle for.
Since the Moon rules unconscious reactions, people with the Moon in Aries react very quickly and automatically. Later, when they become more conscious of their actions, they may regret what they've done, but, alas, patience and prudence are not their strong points.
If their life is too stable and dull, Moon in Aries individuals might protest against this, and this can show as health problems - possibly inflammatory disorders of digestion or an allergy. The Moon is also associated with skin, and the skin may become reddish, with pimples or a rash. Moon in Aries can also be prone to headaches, sleeplessness (especially when overworked or overexcited) and eye problems.
To get rid of stress, Moon in Aries needs to somehow spend excess energy - to have a run, to punch someone (if not physically then emotionally), or break something.
It is not easy for Moon in Aries to be a parent. It just cannot be unobtrusive and steady. Its pedagogical style is more like a cavalry charge, and a slap on the wrist can be its main argument.
Moon in Aries people often think of their mother as an active and energetic person, and the main thing which she taught them in life is not to be idle and that they should pursue their goals.
Housekeeping may serve as a safety-valve for these people, especially for women. They have plenty of energy for cleaning, repairing, cooking, but this happens in bursts, and if something isn't completed until the end of such a burst, it will be abandoned until the next time. Normally, the Moon in Aries can be a good cook (if it doesn't burn something in a haste), but everyday cooking is seen as humdrum and boring.

Maximise Your Body's Potential Through Your Stars

The Goat
Ruling Planet: Saturn, the planet of structure
Triplicity or Element: Earth
Quadruplicity or Mode: Cardinal
Keywords: cautious, reserved, prudent, ambitious, constructive, disciplined

Capricorn is an earth sign, grounded elements, practical and sometimes slow-moving. They need to know all the facts before they'll make a decision to embark on something.

Cautious, serious and extremely ambitious. Yet there is a wicked sense of humour there just dying to get out. They are planners, and can annoy partners by giving them a schedule of what they are going to do and when. They plan well in business too, and make good bosses. They are steadfast and love to be in control of situations. They would give up a love affair simply because it did not fit in with what they had planned. Sad, but they can't break away from the path to success they have chosen.

Saturn is the planet of self control and discipline. It gives them the urge to build for security and for the family, and it also throws up great challenges throughout life. People ruled by Saturn are figures of authority. Dastardly attractive, they look powerful even if they are not.

They like to be seen doing the right thing. They like conservative colours associated with their sign and often wear them: dark green, grey, brown, black.

They are ambitious but at the same time pessimistic, always believing that something will go wrong and everything will fail. These loyal friends will put themselves out for you but just make sure you're prepared to return the favour because they will ask for one back.

Earth signs are dependable and good in a crisis. Usually strong-willed, determined and hard-working. Watch out for their bad temper but remember that their bark is worse than their bite.

Capricorns flourish best in the countryside and it is unlikely you will see a geniunely happy goat living in the city. If they have a flat in the city instead of a house in the country, you can bet it is filled with greenery. And they may not even know why they are doing it.

You won't find a Capricorn without a pension plan, as Saturn also governs old age and the need for securty later in life is always at the front of the thrifty goat's mind. Family responsibilities are also important. They go out of their way to look after their elders. Capricorns will love you forever if you grant them respect. They will always be good to you though you may like to keep an eye on what they are doing when you are not around.

As they get older, become keen gardeners, spending hours pottering around thinking of all the people they have met and all the things they have done with their lives.

Capricorn Health and Development from Child to Adult
Capricorn infant is extremely perceptive. Fit into family life very well and should sleep with few problems. This baby is very little trouble and a delight to have around. They are observers, waiting patiently and watching what everyone else is doing. The truth is they are planning their move very carefully. These master planners are just beginning to develop their planning muscles.

Health Sore Points
Knees, skeleton, bones and skin are ruled by Capricorn. Calcium levels need to be watched. Take care of lungs. Take particular care of knees as you get older.
Watch out for skin disorders, chills and rheumatism. Take regular walks, fresh air.
Keep moving! Any job that means sitting down all day in cramped position is no good for you. Your joints easily stiffen and you need to guard against this.
Capricorns need to guard against teeth problems.
Sunburn can be a problem for sensitive capricorn skin.

Many capricorns have faulty breathing, often as a result of poor posture. Is your back curved? Are you breathing shallowly in quick little breaths? You need to straighten your back (not ram-rod, just comfortably straight) and breathe well. Good deep breaths will get everything circulating around your body and will fend off lethargy.

Cures and Counsel
Do all you can to ensure an enjoyable old age because you are going to be around for a long time. Treat your body well and respect it and it will last a lifetime.
Take gentle exercise. Gentle movements are the answer for you.
You must take care not to be too harsh on yourself about what you can or cannot do. Eat a little bit of what you fancy from time to time and don't get a guilt complex about it. Once you know what your sign needs you'll know where you can be indulgent without doing harm. And let your hair down occasionally. Learn to compromise, and to allow yourself a little pleasure.

If you suffer from bad knees, as many Capricorns do, stock up on parsley and devil's claw. You can chop parsley over many dishes. Parsley sauce is great with fish and new potatoes.

Capricorn lungs are not as strong as others. Stubborn coughs.
Drink lungwort tea.

As you reach midlife, it's up to you to start reasses your life, what's good and what's bad, and what you can do to improve it (and the lives of those around you). Life is all about evolving and making changes when they are needed. If you are thinking about mistakes that you have made, THEN DON"T! Without mistakes we cannot learn and life would be boring if nothing ever went wrong. Learn to laugh about past mistakes. If you don't laugh, you'll cry, and there's too much fun to be had for that. Don't expect that you have to stick with all the decisions you made when you were younger. Benefit from maturity and change a few if you can. Think about what you want and not what others expect from you. Think about what you could do for those you love.

In my experience chrysocolla is one of the gentlest of stones. It's not a high-energy stone like quartz, rutilated quartz, or smoky quartz, and. unlike obsidian, malachite, and lapis, it doesn't bring buried emotions to the surface. Its role is to soothe and calm. Its color alone is soothing, a deep blue-green which might remind one of a secluded mountain meadow or the bottom of the sea. It is primarily a fifth (throat) chakra stone, but it can also be used for the heart or solar plexus.

As a solar plexus stone, it helps to ease fear, anxiety, and guilt. In a chakra balancing layout it can be effectively combined with rhodochrosite. Rhodochrosite helps to relax the diaphragm so that full, deep breathing is possible; then chrysocolla helps to release the emotions which accumulate in the solar plexus.

As a heart stone, it is somewhat comparable to rose quartz; however, I have found that it releases emotions far more gently. As a throat stone, it is believed to stimulate not only creativity, but confidence in creative expression by calming and releasing fear.Because of its soothing qualities, chrysocolla is considered by some crystal practitioners to be a feminine lunar stone, with the energies of those goddesses, such as Kwan Yin, who are viewed as comforters. It helps to draw out the characteristics associated with nurturing goddess figures: patience, compassion, forgiveness and tolerance (both for others and for oneself).

Some people have said that chrysocolla looks like the earth as seen from space. This, in combination with its Goddess-like qualities, makes this is a natural stone to use in meditating for world peace. Hold this very special piece of the earth in your hand, and visualize the peace and calm which emanate from it spreading until it circles the globe. So may it be.

Health food

  • Grapes and peanuts - source of Resveratrol, an antioxidant believed to reduce heart diseases and Alzheimers

  • Tomatoes .. source of the antioxidant lycopene that reduces the risk of cancer by 40% -- Tomato eaters function better mentally in old age and suffer half as much heart disease. Concentrated tomato sauces have 5 times more lycopene than fresh tomatoes, and canned tomatoes have three times more than fresh.

  • Olive Oil .. reduce death from heart disease and cancer. High in antioxidant activity

  • Garlic .. garlic is packed with antioxidants known to help fend off cancer, heart disease, all-over aging, and prolong cancer survival time. Let crushed garlic "rest" for about 10 minutes before cooking to preserve disease-fighting agents.

  • Spinach .. Second among vegetables only to garlic in antioxidant capacity and is also rich in folic acid, which helps fight cancer, heart disease and mental disorders. Folic acid may help prevent Alzheimer's disease.

  • Whole grains .. contain anticancer agents and help stabilize blood sugar and insulin, which may promote longevity. Whole-grain "dark" breads, cereals such as All Bran, and "old fashioned" oatmeal are an excellent source.

  • Salmon , and other fatty fish. Contains high amounts of omega-3 fat that performs miracles throughout the body, fighting virtually every chronic disease known. Without it, your brain can't think, your heart can't beat, your arteries clog, and joints become inflamed. You need one ounce a day, or two servings of salmon, sardines, mackerel, herring or tuna per week

  • Nuts .. eating more than 5 ounces a week can cut heart-attack deaths in women by 40% and help prevent deadly irregular heart beats in men. Almonds and walnuts lower blood cholesterol. Most of the fat in nuts is the good-type monounsaturated and/or omega-3. Unsalted nuts are best.

  • Blueberries .. High in antioxidants, a half-cup of blueberries a day can retard aging and can block brain changes leading to decline and even reverse failing memory.

  • Tea .. Green or black tea has equal antioxidant benefit. One cup a day can cut heart disease risk in half, draink tea made from loose tea or tea bags; instant or bottled tea has little effect.

President Thomas Jefferson believed in mapping out his reading into a definite plan of action, defining specific goals for each topic, never allowing himself to deviate from his reading schedule until he had completed his task. No distractions, no dissipation of time by 'scattered inattentiveness'. He believed a good reader should choose a course of reading with a specific purpose:
a) to hunt out specific knowledge
b) to cultivate the mind
c) for recreation
Jefferson described his reading speed as 'always calm, even stately, like the tick of a tall mahogany clock'.

President Theodore Roosevelt was a renowned speed reader, known for his ability to get through far more reading material than his contemporaries. Dickens was one of Roosevelt's favourite authors, yet the president still applied scanning techniques when reading his novels.
'It always interests me about Dickens to think how almost all of it was mixed up with every kind of cheap, second-rate matter.... the wise thing to do is to simply skip the bosh and twaddle and vulgarity and untruth and get the benefit out of the rest'.

-> Benefit of speed reading: Read the fluff fast so that you have more time to digest/re-read the important parts.

Concentration - your eye/brain system becomes laser-like in its ability to focus and absorb.

Introduction
There's a mysterious power all around you. It's your life-force - the etheric web. It's a force field that you emit from within. It's massively powerful and it stretches all around you. It's here to help you understand and grow. Through this invisible power, you're connected to all living beings, so you can gradually pull to you whatever you need in this lifetime.
Self empowerment is the act of raising your energy so that it resonates faster and you become ever more powerful and capable with everyday that passes. There's no limit to how far you can go. You'll find that whatever you concentrate oon appears shortly thereafter in your life. That's the miracle of your silent power.

Miracles
Imagine the Universal Law as a shipping clerk in a large mail order company. He gets your order but has no idea who you are. If the order says "size 8" he sends out size 8. It's of no concern to him whether or not size 8 fits you. He merely complies with your request.
The currency with which you're going to pay for it is belief.
To create something with absolute certainty, you have to establish the feeling within you that it has already happened - that the condition you desire is already a part of your life.

If you affirm "I am rich", you have to start feeling rich, thinking rich and holding a rich attitude. Walk around expensive stores, have coffee at the best hotel in town, and begin to act and feel as if you already have the vast fortune you know the Universal Law is about to deliver to you.

No one enters the kingdom of heaven within until he has tamed the dragon of negativity that he inherited from the collective unconscious. Don't think you're unworthy. Don't think you're too old.
Your mantra: "I do not accept any energy that is contrary to the unlimited power that lies within me."

Within Universal Law, there's no dual energy, good or bad, saints and sinners. There's just energy - one power that pervades all things and everything is a part of the power. Differentiation between good and evil is just your perception, for within real energy there is no judgement.

If you've harmed others you've impeded your evolution by decelerating the life force within you. That is your karmic energy. But you cannot judge others, because you cannot perceive the nature of their heroic goal, and you have no way of knowing that what they are going through is exactly what they need karmically for their growth at this infinite point in their evolution.

That's why adversity is so useful. It allows people to look for something beyond day to day reality and brings them in touch with their true inner selves. In desperation they begin to pull on their unlimited power .

The Miracle "Action Plan"
Write on a paper in order of importance, the things and conditions you want. Shoot for the moon, don't let the "logical mind" "advise you.

a) read your list 3 times a day- when you rise, middle of day, before bed
b) meditate on your miracles from time to time, KNOW the Universal Law has received your order and is just about to deliver.
c) maintain silence. Talking about miracles dissipates the energy drastically
d) act and think about your miracles as though they already happened.
e) be open to the inner promptings of the unlimited power source as it instructs you in ways of getting what you want. Your heart's desire can come from anywhere, so do not limit your field of expectation. Remain open and flexible at all times.
f) smile a lot - the first miracle is on its way!

Example: Before a recital
1) continue to see your miracle coming into physical reality. See yourself achieving it until 72 hours before it, then forget about it
2) on the day itself, rise early. spend as much time as possible on your own. Avoid interpersonal conflicts. Tell the Universal Law that you're ready and willing to accept the miracle you've been asking for.
3) abstain from energy-lowering substances as alcohol and drugs
4) eat lightly. If you eat great amounts or heavy food, your energy slows and Universal Law within you has difficulty expressing itself. Have salads, fruits, natural healthy food, in sparing quantities. Stay away from junk food.
5) before you set off, relax a moment. See the situation as flowing and positive. See the recital going well, see the miracle delivered.

When there's nothing to be done, do nothing.

If you're pulled into interpersonal conflict, take a few minutes on your own to repair your energy, and before going out into the day, be sure that your energy is strong. If you care for your power and you balance and centre your life, no harm can befall you.
Before setting out into the day, see the white light of the Living Spirit around you, protecting you and strengthening what you are. Realize that the more you believe in yourself, the stronger the white light becomes. It acts as your shield and from time to time each day you should reenergize it by seeing it vibrant and strong and by affirmations.

Avoid conflict. Only the fool stands and fights; the sage walks away. Avoid people and situations that drive you crazy. If the situation is untenable or unchangeable, walk away.

Silent Power
It's a charisma that grows and develops around you, a mystery and strength, radiating a silent power that's strange and beguilling.
From silent power comes flow, from flow comes simplicity of heart, from simplicity of heart comes contentment. Martial arts masters gain silent power over the years via emotional control and physical discipline, which quiets their energy naturally. They exude an effortless strength. Physical exercise and discipline are valuable because they help control the destructive side of the ego. But more than just good physique and fitness, you need awareness as well.

Around you is an electromagnetic body of energy that the ancient Greeks called the etheric body. It's where the real you resides. It's also where your real feelings reside. Imagine it to be a faint energy field, like a colourless mist. Flashing through it are mini-lightning bolts of energy and fingers of flame-like etheric sunbursts that shoot in all directions.

For most people they constantly lean into life, yearning, dreaming pining. Dissatisfied, they seek someone or something to lift them up. They want to be declared special, they want life easy. In the process of leaning, they trash their emotional balance and drift from one gratification to another. One adverse condition- casual remark, small setback- and their energy collapses.

STOP LEANING. When you're desperate to lean on people, you should exercise control.

  1. Don't lean towards things you don't have. Affirm, visualise and take action instead.
  2. Don't lean into the future by talking or thinking about it constantly. Instead, take time each day to make "now" special.
  3. Design your life so that you don't require things from others. Don't suck on people emotionally or intellectually.
It doesn't mean you can't ask for help- there's a difference betw asking dispassionately for help and constantly leaning on others emotionally.

Imagine in a romantic relationship where the other person was all over you like a hot rash, desperate for you. For the first few days you prbably enjoyed the attention, but on day 3 the desperation and insecurity probably bugged and disgusted ou and you eventually tossed the person out.

Silent power often requires the contrary approach. When others lean, step back. when they cry out, remain silent. When they run, you walk. Stay in control and exude stability. Even if you don't feel too sure of yourself just yet. Don't show your weakness. Be strong. Initially you may not be completely solid inwardly, but you can still come across as solid externally. the inward power comes as you act out and affirm your strength and control.

Become the sage, remain composed, be silent and stand straigh etherically. Stay inside what you know - be content, don't have too many needs. Work on yourself.

Everyone is silently preoccupied and worried about something, so the etheric energy is diffused. People worry about death and vilence, worry about things changing or dying, not just their bodies. Anything that has the potential to change worries them. Death of a relationship, death of a job, death of a daily rhythm.

Silent Talking
Part of not leaning is to control your dialogue. Most people talk too much, what they say is often noise or gibberish to keep themselves entertained.
Make it a discipline not to discuss your personal details with others. Develop mystery, silence and a secrecy about your life. Don't allow people to know your deep, innermost self. Sure you may have a friend you want to discuss thins with from time to time. But generally speaking, don't talk about yourself. If you have to, do so only in general terms and only if people ask you.

If you have to give instructions, choose words carefully. A powerful person doesn't waste words, doesn't waffle and drift, but instead thinks carefully and expresses thought succinctly and purposely. The most powerful way to speak is with brevity.

Most people talk out of ego. While you talk, they're waiting to respond with something bigger and better. Exude silent strength by just nodding, wry smile and listening.
